Our Scottish Rite Clubs

The Scottish Rite Clubs provide an opportunity for smaller groups of Scottish Rite members to gather and have fellowship with each other. Along with offering interesting programs, they participate in fundraising for various projects around the Valley and Scottish Rite Charities.

VALLEY OF READING MODEL RAILROADING CLUB

The train club provides the opportunity for model railroading enthusiasts to gather and participate in their hobby. It is open to all Scottish Rite members. The train club has an impressive train layout in a room next to the banquet hall. The club is a major portion of Holiday Happenings with many impressive train platforms and layouts.

HIRAM’S SCOTTISH RIDERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB

Motorcycle enthusiasts who ride for fellowship and charity, particularly the Children’s Dyslexia Center. Sponsored by the Scottish Rite; it is open to Master Masons.

GOLDEN EAGLES SOCIAL CLUB

Golden Eagles meets once a month for lunch, entertainment, and fellowship. It is open to the senior members of the Scottish Rite and their ladies. It provides an opportunity for our senior members to gather and socialize in an informal setting.

Scottish Rite Volunteer Committee (SRVC)

The Scottish Rite Volunteer Committee was formed to provide a resource for various projects around the Valley. They help with many of the programs and projects going on in the Valley. They are instrumental in helping with and supporting the Holiday Happenings program offered by the C. Gilbert Steffe Council, Princes of Jerusalem. They also raise money for landscaping and sprucing up the look of the exterior and interior of the Scottish Rite Cathedral. They have been an ardent supporter of the Children’s Dyslexia Center.
